This site is about my experience with a 1998 Ford Explorer Sport. Its been nothing but a problem ive gotten about 5 good months out of it, rest of time frequenly in shop for same problems but nothings ever wrong with it.

Before someone says why dont you sell it, its because id feel guilty doing that to someone, ford wont help me or any dealers, My husband is driving a 20 yr old vehicle that never has a problem he used to be a big ford fan til this lemon came along, Hes shopping for new vehicle now, he said hed get a moped before hed ever deal with a ford after what we've been thru with this.

Finally got a call from ford qoting they havent had any problems with these vehicles. I cant sell it, Id feel guilty and I dont have a "customer support " to hide behind im sorry but cant screw someone like that,

Now Need  tire set # 3 Due to vibration wearing tires and splitting again (note,,,not firestone tires)And no dealership noticed this??

July 7, 2003 65,000 miles pulling into driveway truck wouldnt stop and suddenly accellerated causing to crash into parked vehicle , also causing damage called customer care again talked to "John 2065" He hung up on me i called back spoke with someone else and was quoted "there is nothing we can do" now i have to pay surcharge and deductable for a ford defect that they are aware of im just happy there were no children in my driveway at time of accident the only thing that stopped me was the parked vehicle or who knows what other damage it may have caused
